These factors are true for thousands of people in Baltimore.  Every year new transgender youth are found on the streets of Baltimore; alienated from their families, addicted to substances, involved in sex work, dying from disease due to lack of medical care with no effective or competent options for treatment, recovery or refuge. GLASS Baltimore, Inc seeks to advocate for transgender people, educate the public about transgender issues and provide culturally competent services that will afford trangender persons in Baltimore an optimum quality of life.
